- Named “Marketing Director of the Year” by The Elite Excellence in Legal Marketing Awards in 2007. Nominated by her Chairman and Senior Management, Tara won for “creating and leading organizational change focused on client satisfaction and service.”
- Prior to joining Miles & Stockbridge, served as an account executive and media consultant for Greenfield/Belser. Led numerous strategic and branding campaigns for global, international, national, and regional law firms and professional service organizations.
- Co-chair of the 2013 International Legal Marketing Association Conference and served on the Capital (Washington, DC) Legal Marketing Association Board of Directors from 2010-2012.
- Frequent speaker at legal marketing, business development and leadership conferences and programs.
- Named one of 2013 National Law Journal’s inaugural list of 50 Business of Law Trailblazers & Pioneers.
- A mother of three teenagers (who keep evenings and weekends busy with sports), she enjoys any outdoor exercise and loves traveling with her husband and family.
