Chicago – April 8, 2014 – Wicker Park Group Partner Nathaniel (Nat) E. Slavin received the Legal Marketing Association’s (LMA) Hall of Fame Award, the industry’s highest honor, at the 2014 LMA Annual Conference held at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek from April 2-3. The Award recognizes individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to LMA and the legal marketing industry as a whole.
“It is a great honor for me to be recognized by my peers for service and contributions to the industry,” says Slavin, based in Wicker Park Group’s Newport Beach office. He adds, “After serving the profession for almost 20 years, I continue to be passionate about enhancing and raising the professional standards of the legal marketing profession.”
As a former LMA president in 2006 and member of many national committees, Nat has worked closely with nearly every chapter, giving him vast experience and a deep understanding of what it means to be an LMA leader. He is lauded for his mentorship to current and future LMA leaders and as an advisor to the national organization, which has resulted in record financial success and membership gains. Today, he still gives back to LMA by serving as Secretary on the Southern California chapter Board of Directors and as a member of the Los Angeles chapter’s Continuing Marketing Education (CME) committee where he implemented the Ted-talk format for the first time ever. The successful program format has since been duplicated by other chapters.
Respected and energized by his peers, those that know Nat well supported his nomination due to his innovative, compelling, strategic and remarkably impressive career.
