Midyear Milestones for WPG

Photo of Tara Weintritt By: Tara Weintritt

It is hard to believe we are approaching the halfway point of 2026! This milestone encourages reflection and fills us with gratitude and excitement for what is to come.

I hope it goes without saying, but Laura Meherg, Caitlin White, and the entire Wicker Park Group team deeply values the trust and partnership with the law firms and legal industry leaders we engage every day.

In the first half of the year, WPG has:
– Conducted 100+ client feedback interviews and 10+ electronic survey initiatives
– Analyzed thousands of data points within our data tool, Reson8, to deliver customized feedback trends to clients (Enough to write #ItNotASecret for years!)
– Delivered 20+ business development trainings and client feedback interview workshops
– Presented at 10+ leadership, business development, and client experience team retreats
– Led 4 general counsel roundtables
– Facilitated 3 WPG-led peer forums
– Continued to support strategic planning, CX strategy, industry team planning, and growth initiatives.

Across these engagements, we are hearing that clients increasingly define value through a broader lens: not just responsiveness or rates but how well firms anticipate needs, use technology to improve efficiency, connect legal work to business outcomes, and introduce the right experts as new or broader challenges arise. Clients also want confidence in the continuity of their relationships, including thoughtful succession planning and clear introductions to the lawyers who will support them over time. The strongest firms are using these conversations to move beyond issue-by-issue service and toward more strategic, proactive, and resilient client relationships.

The first half of the year has reinforced what has always been central to WPG’s work: amplifying the client’s voice, turning insight into action, and helping firms create loyalty and drive growth. (And that we might need to be better about taking more photos!) We are looking forward to the second half of the year and finding joy in the relationships and shared progress that make this work so meaningful. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible for us to call this “work” and a special shout out to Thames Schoenvogel, Wendy Pantle, Aimee Puckett, and JP Mintz for all you do to help our clients shine and make their lives easier. We are so fortunate!
